Исследователи работающие с телескопом Хаббл недавно использовали редкую возможность , чтобы наблюдать Сатурн во время, когда с Земли его кольца видны с ребра, сделав в результате уникальный фильм показывающий оба полюса гигантской планеты. Сатурн находится в этом положении каждые 15 лет, и такая ориентация позволила провести дополнительное изучение двух красивых и динамичных полярных сияний на Сатурне.
